Our little Sam is a beefcake, a chunky monkey, a chubster. And we love it. Our little 12oz baby is now a solid 5lb 13oz. Bumping up the calories in his TPN is working.
Sam’s belly is more swollen than it’s ever been. We’re pushing for surgery in our meeting today. He’s not going to get any better, we’re scared to death, but he needs it, and he’s as good as he’s going to be. Once he has the surgery and all that gas and blocked fluids get released, he’ll probably lose a good bit of weight, but he’ll get big again.

Sam looks bigger than when we saw him this past weekend. I pray that the doctors will have wisdom to help Sam get well. He looks so cute in these pictures.
I’m with your Mom, I’m praying the Dr.’s have the wisdom because you two already do, he’s so sweet. He’s tough too. I’m working on some things to send to him to keep him inspired. He’s such an amazing little person already, for now just tell him I said that. 😉
